Glimmer begins a Faylinn spin-off duet starring different characters from books 1-3. Even though book 4 begins with a spin-off, It is not recommended to skip books 1-3 before beginning 4.

“Was I still a human? Gosh, I still wanted to be human. Even just to keep a sliver of who I thought I was. But as I thought about being human, standing in the shade of the forest, I felt less human than ever. The trees fought for my allegiance."
It started in her chest. The change Calliope didn't see coming. It pulsed like a second heartbeat, urging her to give into the need to be in the depths of the forest. She was compelled to fight the pull, but the more she denied it, the stronger it became until she surrendered and was pulled into a secret world of enchantment.
Kai and Declan needed her to accept what she was, but with everything left unsaid, acceptance was the least of their worries. With the knowledge of their fate in her hands, they'd stop at nothing to protect and prepare her for what awaited them.

Contention within the kingdom with the elves’ presence stirred a rebellion. Still coming to terms with Prince Marcus’s betrayal, her heart and loyalty to her kingdom were on the line. And choosing between the two things she loved most didn’t come without suffering.
Always one to keep a tough front, Lia wanted to shield those she loved from the weakening effects of her transformation, but as her condition worsened, it was impossible to remain hidden. No one had been able to find a cure for a flawed transformation before, but Cameron wasn’t willing to let Lia go.
When Cameron chose a life with Lia and gave up the human world, he knew risks were involved, but he was willing to take a chance to be with the one he loved. As Lia’s health declined, so did the life of the realm, a forewarned disruption of the balance.
With the entire fae race’s fate in jeopardy, they must band together with Calliope and Kai to restore the balance and save the realm or lose it all.
